CBIC presents improved auto enrollment for IEC holders at ICEGATE

To draw in shippers and exporters for enlistment on ICEGATE and to give them different data administrations including reports, the Central Board of Indirect Taxes (CBIC) has introduced a disentangled auto registration for the IEC holders. IEC holders (Importer/Exporter) would now be able to enlist at ICEGATE without computerized Signature.

Enrollment is permitted with IEC and any of one GSTIN appended to it. If it’s not too much trouble pick one GSTIN cautiously, relating to the IEC, the CBIC said. The rearranged enrollment module in ICEGATE is intended to enlist at the ICEGATE without the need to transfer the Digital Signature Certificate (DSC), PAN confirmation, report transfer to ICEGATE and endorsement strategy. Be that as it may, IEC holders enrolled under Simplified Auto Registration classification are not allowed to record Customs archives.
